Along with our AQHA horses we also raise a few Appaloosas. Shown below are some of them. In 1974 we purchased "SLEEPY'S UPSET', ApHC #77,281, whose sire was Joker's Sleepy by the great JOKER B. "Sleepy's" dam was an AQHA mare whose bloodlines included: Flying Bob (a great Speed Sire), Midnight, Zantanon, and Traveler. "Sleepy" sired numerous National halter and performance winners, as well as a Canadian Halter and Performance Champion. |

SLEEPY'S UPSET, shown at Halter in Texas as a two-year old "SLEEPY" earned both Halter and Performance points during his show career. He obtained year end awards in: REINING, WESTERN PLEASURE, ENGLISH PLEASURE, and AGED STALLION at HALTER and was lacking only two points from being a Texas Halter Champion before being sold from Texas to Illinois. |
